Clouds spool by, but the sky is still the sky. Wind makes waves in the grass, but the earth remains the same.
In motion stillness.
In stillness movement.
Meditating, you experience both – stillness and motion – as present and active. Give them equal consideration in your mind, and credit their equal power. Your focus is to bring the two together, so they are no longer opposites. Therefore there is no opposition.
No opposition brings you to a place of inner ease.
No need to strive. No adjustments to accommodate, nothing to assess, no effort in make. Only a mind and body at peace with each other…
Quietly observing the continual changing of that which stays the same.
